Corporate Giving

We recently sent out a newsletter to our clients, prospects and friends letting them know that the president of our company, Allen Noll, was participating in Light the Night, a walk benefiting the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and asking that those who could donate to this cause.

Allen’s brother in law was effected and continues to fight against Leukemia and this has been a story and a person who has touched all of our lives.

And it started a thought process for me. Is it appropriate for companies to support charitable endeavours? What does it say about a company when they solicit their clients and prospects to participate in a donation program? Should we be giving back through business or is it muddying the waters of our relationships with our clients?

Look for more blog posts to explore corporate giving and what it does to our personal and professional relationships.
